IH-R collects corrugated, film and rigid plastic, strapping, fixtures and gondola steel, refrigeration and HVAC units, and POS e-waste from big box stores, retail chains and backrooms across Cincinnati, Dayton and Northern Kentucky.
Swaps are scheduled around receiving windows and truck days, so the backroom keeps moving. Where a baler pays for itself we place one; where it does not, a 53-foot trailer at the dock takes loose corrugated as it comes.
Multi-store chains run on one account with consolidated reporting. Swaps happen within 24 hours, there is no minimum, mixed loads are accepted with no sorting penalty, and nothing we collect goes to landfill.
Rebates. We pay rebates on material and pay for metal by weight. Rates depend on grade and volume.

Do we need a baler in the backroom?
Not always. Where a baler would pay for itself, we say so and place one, then schedule swaps around your delivery windows so bale storage never blocks receiving. Where it would not, a 53-foot trailer at the dock takes loose corrugated as it comes, with no baler maintenance and no operator time. We will not sell you a baler you do not need.
Can pickups work around our truck days?
Yes. Swaps are scheduled around your receiving windows and truck days, and containers are swapped within 24 hours of a call.
Do you handle store remodels and closures?
Yes. Roll-offs and trailers are staged before the work starts for gondola steel, racking, wall track, display fixtures, refrigeration cases and rooftop HVAC units. We pay for metal by weight, and rates depend on grade and volume.
Can you add capacity for the holiday season and resets?
Yes. Swap frequency is increased ahead of Q4 and seasonal resets, so containers are in place before the volume arrives.
Do you take POS terminals and security equipment?
Yes. POS terminals, security cameras, printers and back-office computers are collected through our e-waste recycling, with hard-drive and data destruction available, on the same account as your corrugated and film.
Do we have to separate materials in the backroom?
No. Mixed loads are accepted with no sorting penalty, and there is no minimum. If keeping corrugated or film separate earns a better return, we will tell you.
Can one account cover all of our stores?
Yes. Every location runs on one account with consolidated reporting, so regional and corporate teams get one set of figures. We serve commercial and industrial accounts within 50 miles of Cincinnati, including Dayton, Northern Kentucky and southeast Indiana.
