IH-R collects corrugated cardboard direct from businesses across Cincinnati, Dayton and Northern Kentucky. Commercial cardboard recycling, baled or loose, on your schedule, with the same pickup taking your stretch film and strapping. Nothing we collect goes to landfill.
We serve warehouses and distribution centers, big box and retail backrooms, corrugated box plants and manufacturing plants. A 53-foot trailer can sit at your dock and be loaded as boxes break down, so corrugated never has to be staged, stacked or baled in the building. When the trailer is full, we swap it.
Swaps happen within 24–72 hours, there is no minimum, and mixed loads are accepted with no sorting penalty. Cardboard can ride on the same pickup as your metal, plastic and paper, so one account covers every stream.

Cardboard pickup for business
We run bulk cardboard collection and business cardboard collection for stores, warehouses and plants: a cardboard bale pickup when your bales are ready, or a cardboard collection service on a fixed schedule. For loose boxes we can set a cardboard recycling dumpster or a 53-foot trailer at your dock.

Cardboard recycling FAQ
How can we get rid of a large amount of cardboard?
Call us for cardboard removal service. We set a roll-off or a 53-foot trailer at your dock, or pick up your bales, and haul it away.
Do we need a baler?
Not necessarily. A 53-foot trailer at the dock takes loose corrugated as it comes, with no baler to buy, no maintenance and no staging area. Where volume justifies a baler, we say so and place one. Where it does not, we will not sell you one. If a baler makes sense, we also offer baler rental.
What containers do you provide?
Gaylord boxes (1.5 cubic yards) at the break-down point on the floor, open-top roll-off containers from 10 to 40 cubic yards in the yard or alongside a dock, 53-foot trailers dropped at the dock, and balers for high volume.
Will pickups interfere with receiving?
No. Swaps are scheduled around your delivery days and receiving windows, so a full trailer or a bale queue never blocks a door.
Do we have to keep cardboard separate from other material?
No. Mixed loads are accepted with no sorting penalty. Where keeping a grade separate, such as new double-lined kraft from a box plant, earns a better return, we set up the equipment so that separation adds no extra handling for your crew.
Can you handle a one-time clean-out, remodel or store closure?
Yes. Roll-offs from 10 to 40 cubic yards are staged before the work starts and removed when the job is done, alongside your regular corrugated service.
Is there a minimum pickup?
No. There is no minimum volume and no minimum weight.
What area do you serve?
We serve commercial and industrial accounts within 65 miles of Cincinnati, including Dayton, Northern Kentucky and southeast Indiana.
